Arevon secures $299 million for Ratts 1 and Heirloom solar projects in Indiana :


Arevon Energy has secured $299 million in debt financing for its Ratts 1 and Heirloom Solar Projects in Pike County, Indiana. These projects will contribute 264 MW (MWdc) of renewable energy to the Midwest and MISO region. Construction has begun for these projects, and they are expected to be fully operational by the third quarter of 2025.

The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), part of World Bank Group Guarantees and the International Solar Alliance (ISA), on Friday announced the setting up of a fund to support solar projects. The MIGA-ISA Solar Facility, a multi-donor trust fund, will combine ISA's technical expertise and MIGA's capacity to mobilise financing, creating an innovative mechanism to accelerate the global adoption of solar energy, according to a statement.

International Solar Alliance (ISA) on Thursday announced that it has entered into exclusive discussions with Africa50 to serve as a potential investment manager for its proposed Africa Solar Facility (ASF). The ASF is a USD 200 million initiative designed to unlock investment in distributed solar projects across Africa, an ISA statement said.
