Huasun Energy has achieved a significant milestone in its path to bring heterojunction (HJT) solar modules to the mainstream in utility-scale photovoltaic plants. The company has successfully produced and delivered 1.8 GW HJT modules for the China Green Development Investment Group (CGDG) within a remarkable three-month timeframe since May2024.

New DOE prize offers cash for more eco-friendly solar manufacturing :


The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires the federal government to purchase products and services with certain designated “ecolabels” when they’re available. This includes solar modules and inverters, but until now, only four total solar products have achieved any level of environmental certification — two solar modules by Qcells and two by First Solar. Since no inverters have been certified, government projects can choose any inverter that meets other federal requirements.

Clime Capital Management to invest funds to deploy solar energy infrastructure in the Philippines :


This funding is provided through the Southeast Asia Clean Energy Fund. Upgrade Energy, which began with its first rooftop solar installation in 2015, aims to exceed 50 MW of installed solar capacity by the end of 2024.
