Engie Australia begins work on Victoria’s ‘largest solar PV project under construction’ :
Utility giant Engie’s Australian division has started construction on its 250MW Goorambat East solar PV project in Victoria, Australia.
The project, which Engie claims is the largest under construction in the state, will be completed in 2026 and will begin providing renewable energy to the National Electricity Market (NEM) in 2027.
China Adds 160 Gigawatts in First 3 Quarters of 2024 :
In September alone, China installed 20.9 GW of new solar power capacity, an increase of 27% month over month.

AMEA Power Completes Solar Module Installation of 500-MW Abydos PV Park in Egypt :
AMEA Power has announced the completion of solar module installation at its 500-MW Abydos photovoltaic (PV) park located in Kom Ombo, Aswan governorate, Egypt. The company has successfully energized the 220-kV substation that will link the site to the national grid.
