NHPC Floats EPC Tender for 200 MW Solar Project :
NHPC has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction package of a 200 MW grid-connected solar power project to be set up in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL)’s renewable energy park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3). The project must be commissioned within 12 months of receiving the work order. The selected developer must also operate and maintain the project for five years. The last date to submit the bids is June 28, 2024. Bids will be opened on July 3

MNRE Clarifies Applicability of ALMM Order for Solar Projects :
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has clarified the applicability of the Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2019, to solar projects.
According to MNRE’s Office Memorandum on March 10, 2021, the ALMM mandate applies to projects with bid submissions completed 30 days after the list’s publication date.
Solar rooftop installations crank up 78%; higher growth in TN & Kerala :

Onix Renewables bags 187 MW solar projects under PM-KUSUM :
The power purchase agreement has been signed with Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited. The company secured these projects by winning bid in auctions held by the Government of Gujarat. Within the PM KUSUM Scheme’s Component C, the projects were tendered for feeder-level solarisation and are anticipated to be operational by the end of December 2024.
