Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, has announced that the company aims to make Jamnagar the energy capital of the world, with major plans for its new energy business including production of solar photovoltaic modules by year-end.
SunSource Energy commissions 21 MWp solar plant in Tamil Nadu :
SunSource Energy has commissioned a 21 MWp solar power plant in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu. The project will cover an area of 50 acres and is expected to generate 760 million kWh of clean energy. This is estimated to offset 700 million kg of carbon emissions.
SunSource Energy has a current portfolio of 500 MWp. This includes solar projects that are deployed, contracted and in developing stage. The company’s clients include players in the commercial and industrial segment including FMCG, oil and gas and automotive companies.

The shares of NLC India Limited (NLCIL) were trading at ₹278.30, up by ₹2 or 0.72 per cent, on the NSE at 10.50 am.
