Solar Module Manufacturer Premier Energies’ IPO Oversubscribed 74 Times :


The IPO proceeds will be used to part-finance a 4 GW cell and 4 GW module facility Telangana-based solar cell and module manufacturer and EPC solutions provider Premier Energies ‘ ₹28.30 billion (~$337.4 million) initial public offering (IPO) of shares received an overwhelming response from various investor categories, with the issue subscribed over 74 times.

 

 

Northeast Frontier Railway Invites Bids for 2.93 MW Rooftop Solar Project :


The last date to submit the bids is September 27, 2024 The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has floated a tender to set up  grid-connected rooftop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 2.93 MW at 42 stations, service buildings, and 204 level crossings in the Rangiya railway division in Assam.

 

 

India Reaches 1 GW Rooftop Solar Capacity in 1H 2024 :


MNRE adds 4,089 MW of solar module capacity to ALMM India added 1.1 GW of rooftop solar capacity in the first half (1H) of calendar year 2024, the highest half-yearly installations to date, according to Mercom India’s  newly released Q2 2024 India Rooftop Solar Market Report. The capacity addition was about a 26% year-over-year (YoY) increase from the 873 MW installed in 1H 2023. Rooftop solar capacity additions in the second quarter of 2024 were unprecedented, with 731 MW, up 89% YoY from 388 MW. Sequentially, capacity additions grew by 99% from 367 MW.

 

 

NTPC Issues 1.2 GW Hybrid Tender With 600 MW Greenshoe Option :


NTPC has released a tender to select hybrid power generators for the supply of 1.2 GW of power from inter-state (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects anywhere in India. This project has a greenshoe option for an additional capacity of up to 600 MW on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis with 20th of September.
