JNU's 2,000 KWp solar power plant on table, to slash electricity bill by Rs 3 cr annually :


Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) plans to install a 2,000 kilowatt-peak (KWp) solar power plant on its campus, a move that could cut its annual electricity bills by around Rs 3 crore, according to official sources. The new setup will see solar panels installed on the rooftops of hostels, remaining academic buildings, and small vacant areas near the academic complex.


 

ACME Solar Holdings arm inks pact to supply power from 150 mw hybrid solar project :


ACME Solar Holdings on Friday said its project special purpose vehicle ACME Platinum Urja has inked a pact with Solar Energy Corporation of India to supply power from its 150 MW hybrid solar capacity. This capacity is part of the total 350 MW capacity awarded to ACME Solar Holdings (ASHL) by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), a company statement said.

JSW energy subsidiary signs PPA for its wind-solar hybrid capacity with GUVNL :


The PPA is signed for supply of power for a period of 25 years with a tariff of Rs 3.27/kWh. JSW Energy said that the project is expected to be commissioned within 24 months and will be connected to the STU in Gujarat.


 

PFC floats tender for evacuation of 6 GW of power for green hydrogen projects :


PFC Consulting has issued bids for establishing transmission systems to evacuate a total of 6 GW of power for green hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing projects in Kandla and Mundra, Gujarat. The last date to submit bids for the Kandla project under Phase 1 is December 17, 2024, with bid openings scheduled for the same day.


 

PFC floats tender for evacuation of 6 GW of power for green hydrogen projects :

JSW Energy’s subsidiaries have secured power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for two 600 MW solar-wind hybrid projects, the company announced today. The 25-year agreements were signed at a tariff of ₹3.60/kWh, with commissioning expected within 24 months.
